2002 Pommard Pezerolles Hubert de Montille - Tuesday, January 15, 2019
So pretty, juicy and accessible! Nothing to do with the same wine of another type of vintage. The texture didn't remind me the appellation but the pinot itself is so generous and actually brings the power of the terroir, at least.

2007 Beaune Greves Michel Lafarge - Tuesday, January 15, 2019
What a severe wine! We could tell that this area is suffering and the vines have to go deep to get the essential part of the terroir in order to express themselves! The wine was grabbing us by the throat, but just to say: "this is my rules and you'll follow them", meaning that we new what was the idea of the soil but as well the winemaker. Not in a subtle way the style of Lafarge was showing again, not young or not ready, just very Lafarge. KR

2007 Chambolle-Musigny Georges Roumier - Tuesday, January 15, 2019
Chambolle Musigny, even at the "Village" level is supposed to be one the silkiest and perfumed villages. That was the case here. Beautiful aromas, black and red cherry, pretty medium body and superb structure and backbone. The wine is in shape but there's still a lot of aging potential. KR

2007 Nuit Saint Georges Robert Chevillon "Les Chaignots" - Tuesday, January 15, 2019
What a wine! 07 is spectacular right now. Muscular, almost Pommard like, yet so smooth and welcoming. Incredible long, lingering finish. Everything you want in a bottle of NSG. TD

2003 Corton Clos du Roi Prince Florent de Merode - Tuesday, January 15, 2019
Texture was on point, juicy but big at the same time, not meaning tight or too massive to not being drink. It was simply representative of the terroir, area and vintage. Some people are saying that this vintage was so hot that we can't even drink it but i don't believe for some cases, it remind me of Chateau Rayas 2003, how good it was, I still decanted it cause the wine needed to relax. KR

2008 Gevrey-Chambertin VV Denis Mortet - Tuesday, January 15, 2019
What a Gevrey, I'm trusting the winemakers who are saying we should open some of the 08s! Right now it is such in a beautiful place. The wines from the son are so different; much more accessible and not a sign of oak! I felt like i was hurt by a wave of claws from a tiger! Full of dirt and crunchy fruit! Good bottle.KR

2008 Vosne-Romanee VV Cecile Tremblay - Tuesday, January 15, 2019
Compared to 2007, this wine got more structure, but the funny part if that it seems to be less interesting and more understandable than the other. The fruit is bigger but still jammy, the wine's got this large open arms that says welcome, drink me and enjoy

2000 Chambolle-Musigny Les Baudes Laurent Lignier - Tuesday, January 15, 2019
Finally a Chambolle from Lignier that tasted like Chambolle! Usually we are going more on the darker side of the fruit; this bottle was sexy and pure with some red fruit jam notes, very fresh with nuances of herbs and anise. KR

2008 Champagne Special Club Gimmonet - Saturday, May 12, 2018
From the moment I opened the bottle it was like a genie waiting to get out of the lamp. White flowers, peaches, tangerines and brioche on the nose. Incredibly balanced and structured. Very neat arrange of colors and textural notes. Super long finish and bright acidity. Beautiful. SR

1990 Richebourg Jean Grivot - Saturday, May 12, 2018
This is exactly why I love Richebourg! So different from the other Grand Cru of Vosne! Much more texture and juice, the herbal component you usually get in the area was definitely present in the wine in a very strong way. The wine was spicy and tough, masculine and rugged. It was a big Jean Grivot's wine that needed all this time to show the subtlety of the terroir; a complex wine that needed and deserved all the attention.KR
